Former Northwestern safety Ibraheim Campbell has been impressive in his first two preseason games and throughout training camp with the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns drafted Campbell with the No. 115 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. And so far in training camp, Campbell has slotted in as the backup strong safety behind Donte Whitner.
With numerous injuries in the Browns secondary, Campbell received a heavy workload in the Browns first preseason game. Per Pro Football Focus, Campbell received a team high 49 snaps among rookies in the Browns first preseason game against the Washington Redskins, making 5 tackles (2 solo). Campbell’s performance earned a +1.2 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.
