After receiving lots of interest leading up to the draft, the Denver Broncos drafted Trevor Siemian with the No. 250 overall pick in the seventh round. Siemian joins Peyton Manning, Brock Osweiler and Zak Dysert under center. In four seasons with the Wildcats, Trevor Siemian threw for 5,931 yards, 27 touchdowns and 24 interceptions with a 58.9 completion percentage and 116.6 quarterback rating.
While not the most highly rated quarterback, scouts were impressed by his size, mobility and Football IQ. Even with his poor tape at Northwestern, some teams saw him as a possible developmental prospect.
